About us
Family owned and established in 1979
Don’s Dock, LLC is a family-owned and operated marina serving the boating community from Fisher’s Island to Watch Hill for over 30 years. We offer premier dockage, mooring, a whole range of boating services and improved access to Stonington Harbor. Our docks are nestled along the protective shores of Lambert’s Cove but offer quick access to Long Island Sound’s best fishing. Located just outside historic Stonington Borough and across from the Captian Nathaniel Palmer House, it’s easy to soak up New England’s rich maritime past. But we’re also only a short stroll to contemporary shopping and dining with a real New England flavor. Many of Mystic's attractions are only minutes away.

Ian Hetherington has owned and operated Don's Dock since 2005 when he purchased the marina from his father, Donald Hetherington. His father acquired Don's Dock in 1979 and Ian has been been in the boating and dockage industry all his life, having grown up working on the family marina. The Hetherington family have always taken great care in providing outstanding customer service to all of their valued customers. Ian continues the family tradition of providing customers with friendly, caring and quality service.
